Layout Class Overview

This class was a lot of fun and I was able to try out new things.
This one was our final. We were to pick any artist, find an article/interview with them and make a new four page spread layout with that article. I love this artist and if you don't know about her....look her up. She will make you re-think design.

This was a newsletter design we did earlier in the quarter. I was trying to be practical and used Jennifer's building as my client. This was challenging and fun. It has two sides and folds in half horizontally and then vertically.

OMG...This is another great artist. This was another 4 page spread layout that we were to do on an artist. She does some really cool stuff and you should check her out ASAP.

Magazine layout for Digital Illustation

This was our final project in Digital Illustration. We were to create a magazine layout based on the design of a real magazine. I used the magazine "The Nest". We did not have to actually write an article, but once I got started, I just kept going. I could not find content I liked, so I hand made all of the ornaments, shot the photos, wrote the text and created the layout.
