Textured Cheap Table

You know...my mother gave me this table with three legs that screw into the base. It is pretty generic and can be found very inexpensively at target, walmart, etc... I hated this thing. I could not find a way to make it work...until I saw this fabric. I knew I needed to do something great with it but didn't know what. I decided to cover the table and paint the legs to blend. It looks great and cost under 20 dollars. You could even change the height of the legs if interested.

Fabric Art

What do you do with fabric that you only have scraps of...fabric art. Here are two examples of pieces I have made. The first one, was for a space I needed a large art piece for, but wanted something different. I used spray adhesive to attach several scraps of blue fabric to a piece of plywood. The second piece is just really really really cool cut velvet that I thought looked more like art than fabric. I stapled it to a few pieces of wood and hung them together. Let me know if you have questions.
