New Purse - Amy Butler Pattern

This is the Kimberly Bag from the Amy Butler Patterns. I have not bought and used a pattern in so long that I almost forgot how to read one. I really liked the style of this one and wanted to use some fun fabrics. It may not be exactly like the pattern but close enough. I tend to adjust to whatever I have on hand material wise and what I like best.

Fabric Art

What do you do with fabric that you only have scraps of...fabric art. Here are two examples of pieces I have made. The first one, was for a space I needed a large art piece for, but wanted something different. I used spray adhesive to attach several scraps of blue fabric to a piece of plywood. The second piece is just really really really cool cut velvet that I thought looked more like art than fabric. I stapled it to a few pieces of wood and hung them together.
