I was trying to get motivated to do holiday cards and these were a few of the ideas I came up with, but just never got around to making.

Finished Nursery - part six
Glider Cushions redone from an ugly denim....rich velvets and tapestry fabric make it modern and vintage at the same time...
Camo Nighlight with the letter "k" out of army buttons

Floor Pillow for the low dining table. It was originally an extra large coffee table but she turned it into a japanese style dining table. I love it.
Another view of the floor pillows
One picture of the sling I made for Baby Kale....I will get better pictures of this and the nursing cover I made.

Guest bed in the room with the camo pillows and army poster framed. The bed covering is a genuine army blanket.

Close up of the pillows made for the bed.
Picture of the changing area with the crates painted and stained for the slots. The doors were removed off this old buffet. Small crates ordered by accident came in handy for extra storage.

This is a large blackhawk helicopter toy we found at Toys-r-us. We were able to attach it to a crate and hang from the wall.

When you walk into the nursery this is what you saw after our first install...The second pictures shows the changes.
We updated the crib bedding by cutting the ribbons and adding a army duffle bag (em's idea). You can also see the updated window treatment.

mobile of army men installed...with the backing of the army covering.

First Window Cover by the grandmother. It seemed cool at first but them we decided it looked like either a bat or crucifix. We then decided to change it up and it gave it more light and better flow.
Rearrangement of window covering - we used army netting
Nursing Pillow recoverd to match the room. The top is camo and the bottom is a green flannel.

Camo/ Army Changing Diaper Pad
I used part of an army uniform pant leg and created this camo diaper changing pad to go into the diaper bag. It has a decorative stitch and the lining fabric has a vinyl fused onto the fabric for a wipeable fabric.
