Original Art - Cheap Decor

What do you do when you have to fill lots of wall space with no money? You paint. Here are some of the paintings I did to fill our walls and a little bit about each...

Here is a canvas I did with different layers of paint and textured medium and removing layers in circles. This is also the view of it with light on it...very cool.

Anger and frustration...need a say more.

Moon glow over water...reminds me of Tahoe.
Tray of Marbles in my studio...I loved all the colors together. Things you think should not go together...do.

Heart and soul of a flower

I call this...Don't cross the line. This was a very monochromatic theme with different uses of taping and removing tape.
warmth...it feels like a big hug

I was playing with the tape again and water drops. The splashes are just drops of water on the wet paint.
Mercury Rising...I just envisioned a planet coming up over the horizon and how that might look...there are also some of my "fill the space" circle paintings...
Botanical Paintings...we have a cactus, love tree with initials carved in and cherry blossoms.

Unexpected Crosses.... I played with tape again and when I hung the canvas..I saw the cross.
